“Home prices may plunge as much as 25 percent when mortgages suddenly balloon in the coming surge in borrowing costs, says an economist.
Lenders are expected to start hiking interest rates on adjustable-rate mortgages, triggering a domino effect that could collapse housing prices over the coming decade, Yale University economist Robert Shiller told Barron's newsweekly.”
