This is a list of the Ten influential economists or experts that regularly appear in the media declaring the existence of some kind of housing bubble and/or credit bubble and/or impending recession. (Krugman is not on this list, on account he’s a dishonest schmuck.)

1. Robert Schiller – Yale Professor, wrote Irrational Exuberance and predicted the dot-com bubble.
2. Stephen Roach – Morgan Stanley Strategist/Economist
3. Bill Gross – Manager of Pimco (World’s largest bond fund)
4. Bill Fleckenstein – Money Manager – Contributor to MSNMoney
5. Paul Kasriel - Senior Vice President and Director of Economic Research of Northern Trust
6. Jim Grant – Publisher and author of Grant’s Interest Rate Observer
7. Paul Volker – Former Chairman of the Federal Reserve
8. Francois Trahan - Chief strategist at Bear Stearns
9. Nicolas Retsinas - Director of Harvard's Joint Center for Housing Studies
10. Jack McCabe - Chief Executive of McCabe Research & Consulting LLC
