Where Are The Armies of Homeless?
The home builders and other perma-bulls all say the same thing; that the supply of homes is limited. If the supply of homes is limited, then where are all of the homeless people? I don’t think this is a completely disrespectful or nonsensical question. If there is a shortage of housing, then there clearly should be more people living on the streets. What the home builders and housing bulls don’t appreciate is that a sufficient amount of housing does exist when you don’t distinguish between renting and owning.
